Julie Benz Interview

Julie Benz has made quite a name for herself – she’s a member of the Whedonverse, playing Darla on both Buffy and Angel; she’s the lovely wife of serial killer Dexter Morgan on Showtime’s Dexter; she was in the latest Rambo movie, among a wide variety of other projects, each one a little bit different.  Starting today, in theatres across the country, you’ll find her as the latest member of the Boondock Saints family, taking the reins from Willem Dafoe as the special agent after everyone’s favorite McManus brothers in Troy Duffy’s long awaited sequel The Boondock Saints: All Saints Day.

James Tupper Interview

James Tupper Interview

A lot of medical dramas have been coming out in the past few years, and I find some a lot more interesting than others.  This year is no different with some crashing out of the gate, and some finding steady ground on an otherwise shaky network.  One of the main reasons I’ve continually gone back to Mercy, NBC’s latest hospital-based effort, is the wonderful James Tupper, formerly of Men In Trees.  He plays an Iraq-war veteran coming back to rekindle the flame he had over there, only to find out that his lady is back with her hubby.  James called me up yesterday to talk about why he loves the show, what famous actress he’s pretty sure wants to guest star, and what else he has coming up.

David Zayas Interview

I’ve been a huge fan of Dexter since the beginning of the show, and I always have a great time when I talk to the cast.  This year, I had another chance to talk for a bit with David Zayas ( the one and only Angel Battista) about what’s coming up, the relationship that he thinks came out of left field (not that he has a problem with it), and why season 4 is the best time to have yourself a marathon!

One of my favorite shows on TV is The Amazing Race on CBS.  Every season, I pick a team from the beginning that I root for, no matter what!  I have a feeling that this season, I’m going to be devoting my rooting time to Tiffany Michelle and her best friend, and fellow poker player, Maria Ho!  I had the chance to talk to Tiffany early last week about how she prepared to tackle the race, and why she thinks she might have the advantage over other teams!

Mark Salling Interview Part 1

Mark Salling Interview Part 1

I am completely obsessed with Glee – and rightfully so.  The cast is great, the musical numbers are awesome, and I laugh out loud every time I watch an episode!  I had the great opportunity to spend a good amount of time chatting with Mark Salling, Finn’s best friend and football player, Puck.  We talked a good bit about what’s coming up, this week, next week, and beyond, and more about why this show is just flat out awesome.  Keep reading for part 1 of our interview (and come back next week for Part 2)!

Pamela Adlon Interview

For years now, I’ve been a huge fan of Pamela Adlon.  Whether it’s her role as the voice of Bobby Hill or the fantastic character Marcy Runkle on Showtime’s Californication (or playing herself on the Starz series Head Case), she never ceases to crack me up.  In celebration of what sounds like it’ll be the best season of Californication yet, I had the chance to chat with Pamela for a few minutes, about what to expect, why she loves the show, and a few words of thanks from my favorite Arlen, Texas resident!
