On April 3rd, Adult Swim lays down the law with the DVD debut of the butt-kicking crime drama parody, Eagleheart Season One! The hysterical release arrives in stores just over a week before the show’s second season premieres on Adult Swim on Thursday, April 12th at midnight (ET/PT). Eagleheart stars Chris Elliott (Cabin Boy, There’s Something About Mary) as U.S. Marshal Chris Monsanto, who blindly kicks, punches and shoots his way to what may or may not be a legitimate solution to his case. Joined by his sidekicks Brett and Susie, played by Brett Gelman (The Other Guys) and Maria Thayer (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Monsanto must overcome whatever obstacle is presented in the beginning of the episode, all while under the watchful eye of the Chief, played by Michael Gladis (Mad Men). Produced by Conan O’Brien’s Conaco Productions and Dakota Pictures, Eagleheart Season One features all 12 episodes from the series’ first season and is jam-packed with bonus material including deleted scenes, a panel starring the cast filmed at 2011’s New York Comic Con, and cast and crew episode commentary for each of the episodes.
