AMC Orders A 4th Season Of BREAKING BAD

AMC announced today the renewal of its Emmy(R) Award-winning and critically acclaimed drama series "Breaking Bad" for a fourth season, continuing the network's momentum in delivering the best original storytelling on television. From acclaimed writer/producer/director Vince Gilligan ("The X-Files"), the series follows the story of a desperate man who turns to a life of crime to secure his family's financial security. "Breaking Bad's" first two seasons awarded Bryan Cranston the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, which marked the only time an actor from basic cable has ever been recognized with back-to-back Emmy Awards.

Breaking Bad Season 3 To Premiere March 21st

AMC will premiere the highly anticipated third season of "Breaking Bad" on Sunday, March 21 at 10pm ET/PT. Back-to-back Emmy winner Bryan Cranston will serve double duty as director of the premiere episode, "No Mas."

Leading up to the highly-anticipated new season will be a "Best of Breaking Bad" Marathon, featuring six of the series best episodes, on Friday, March 19 beginning at 8pm ET/PT. In addition, season two will be available On Demand beginning in February.

"Walt's Warning," a first-person customized viral video featuring "Breaking" star Bryan Cranston hosted at WaltsWarning.com, will have viewers choose their own adventure as they interact with Cranston's desperate science teacher-turned-meth peddler.

AMC Renews Breaking Bad For Second Season

AMC announced today the renewal of its latest original series, Breaking Bad, for a second season of 13 episodes. The renewal expands on AMC's commitment to bring viewers cinematic original programming that complements and is supported by the network's vast library of iconic movies. From acclaimed writer/producer/director Vince Gilligan (X-Files) and Sony Pictures Television, Breaking Bad follows the story of a desperate man who turns to a life of crime to secure his family's financial security. Season One of Breaking Bad premiered on AMC Sunday nights this past January.

AMC Launches Multi Platform Marketing Campaign For New Series Breaking Bad

AMC, the network defining the Future of Classic, will launch a multiplatform marketing campaign for the premiere of its newest original series, Breaking Bad. Created by Vince Gilligan (X-Files) and starring Bryan Cranston ( Malcolm In The Middle), the series will premiere on AMC uninterrupted, Sunday, January 20th at 10pm (ET/PT), 9C. The series' marketing initiative is a multifaceted, multi-platform campaign. Breaking Bad follows the story of a good man who chooses to "break bad" to secure his family's financial security. It is the second original dramatic series for AMC, following its first original drama Mad Men that premiered this summer to unprecedented critical acclaim and most recently received two Golden Globe nominations for Best Dramatic Television Series and Best Lead Actor in a Dramatic Series for Jon Hamm.

AMC Greenlights New Original Drama Series Breaking Bad

AMC announced today that it has greenlit Breaking Bad, the one-hour original drama from acclaimed writer/producer/director Vince Gilligan (X-Files). The network ordered eight new episodes in addition to the pilot which was shot on location in New Mexico earlier this year. The series, which is set to debut on the network in 2008, follows the story of a desperate man who turns to a life of crime to secure his family's financial security. Vince Gilligan and Mark Johnson are the executive producers for High Bridge Productions, Inc. and Gran Via Productions in association with Sony Pictures Television. Today's announcement comes as AMC approaches the premiere of its highly anticipated original scripted drama series Mad Men, from Matthew Weiner (Sopranos), on July 19, at 10pm EST.
